Mug Design

I have recently started doing a PGCE in Design & Technology and this week was my first full week in University. Over the past two days we have been looking at design projects that we can do with Key Stage 3 children. The project we had today was to come up with a design to go on a mug. I decided to do a little bird :)

Illustration

As I have only put up things I have made, I thought I would share some of the Graphic Design work that I have done. Below are two illustrations I created for university projects. The first one is an illustration for a fashion show where I had to make posters, banners and invites.

The second is a Illustration I created of a digital camera. We had to pick an everyday object then recreate it, as realistically as possible, out of simple shapes using Adobe Illustrator.

Owl Badges

I seem to have a little bit of an obsession with owls at the moment and have now started to create owl badges. I have made them in many different colours but this is my favourite so far. I started making these badges as I had lots of scraps of fabric left over from making my cushions and thought I would put it to good use. Beautiful Badges

Back in April I bought a birthday card for my mum that had a lovely flower badge on it. I thought it was a great idea for a card instead of having an image on it so I decided to come up with some of my own. Here are a couple I made.

Here is one of the owl cushions I've made. This was my first attempt at making them and I was quite pleased with how it turned out.
